The City of Fort Calhoun adopted the International Building Codes in there current forms as did the State of Nebraska and Washington County, these include the following: IBC, IRC, IMC, IPC, IECC and NEC.
Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors - please apply for permits at the Washington County Permits and Inspections office at the Washington County Court House located at 1555 Colfax Street, Blair NE or call 402-426-6872.
Building Permit applications can be completed at both the city and county offices. All commercial building plans for construction or remodel need to be reviewed by the Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s Office prior to local approval.
